Raiding the Country Vault Show is one of unique shows in Branson returning to the Starlite Theatre this year 2017. The all-star performers will share country music’s biggest hits. Arriving with great fanfare to Branson, this show is rising quickly to the #4 slot for Branson shows/attractions on TripAdvisor and has received great reviews on the popular social media site. Raiding the Country Vault was a longtime vision of show’s producer Sir Harry Cowell and Simono-Napier Bell, former manager of the Yardbirds and Wham. The show will bring chart-topping Nashville stars together with musicians who have played behind country music’s most iconic acts, list of performance that features the biggest hits and the history of most beloved music genre in America. “Having the most talented lineup of performers is essential to putting on a show like ‘Raiding the Country Vault’,” producer of the show Sir Harry Cowell said. “The songs performed are definitely country music hits and all of our musicians have the extraordinary skill and experience to bring that music to life.”
This returning show to Branson this year features a set list of country music’s most renowned favorites by celebrated artists that include Conway Twitty, Patsy Cline, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels Band, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Dolly Parton, George Strait, and many more. This show also brings to Branson the talent of writer, director, and production designer Paul Dexter.
The show also brings impressive lineup of stars that include musical director Michael Peterson on lead vocals and guitar, best loved for his #1 hits “Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie” and “From Here To Eternity”; Cold Prather on lead vocals and lead guitar, who has worked with Alan Jackson and Ronnie Milsap; Billy Yates on lead vocals and guitar, best known as a hit songwriter for George Strait, Kenny Chesney, George Jones and many others; Michelle Poe on lead vocals and bass, who has worked with Brooks & Dunn and Hank Williams Jr.; Danielle Peck on lead vocals, best known for her hits “Finding A Good Man” and “I Don’t.”
These show artists are backed-up by all-star band that has shared the stage with the biggest names in country music for decades and features Steve Ramsey on keys; two-time “Fiddler of the year” Derrek Phillips on drums; Scott Kwapaszeski on pedal steel and banjo; and Branson’s very own Melody Hart. October 1 was the last performance of Raiding the Country Vault for 2016 season.
