A Winter Fun in a Living Rainforest

Aside from many colorful butterflies that abound in the garden, the living statue is such a wonderful attraction that moves slowly and extend her hands for a butterfly to land. The colorful and exotic butterflies are housed in a 9,000 square foot butterfly garden that you can walk freely among an ecosystem that supports over 2,000 butterflies. In the garden, you can enjoy the fragrance of the flowering plants that attract the beautiful butterflies. Young and old alike can have the chance to enjoy many interactive and educational displays and exhibits throughout the greenhouse. Also displayed in the interactive learning environment are authentic creatures from rainforest including geckos, giant cockroaches, and poison art frogs.

The Butterfly Palace’s Living Rainforest features an aviary where exotic birds, botanical specimens, and turtles make it their home. Your admission to the garden allows you unlimited access to all that is offered at the Butterfly Palace. Inside the palace, you can enjoy a documentary about the incredible monarch migration; you can also stretch your way through the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure; a passage to the Living Rainforest Science Center; and a journey through the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze. You can also enjoy a climb to a coconut tree and a 3D movie about the butterfly life cycle. The Butterfly Palace is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day but open year round from 9am to 5pm daily.

In the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure, you can see pillars, rocks, and vines that creep from floor to ceiling. The Living Rainforest Science Center is an interesting place to roam around that will allow you to enjoy nature. A unique attraction in the Butterfly Palace, the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze will let you experience difficulty of finding your way out. In the garden of the Butterfly Palace, it’s great to watch thousands of white butterflies move like snowflakes. At Butterfly Palace, you will truly enjoy an interesting rainforest adventure and educational experience about the life of butterflies.

The Butterfly Palace features a pet shop that houses lizards, turtles, and chameleons. The kids will surely love to see the chameleon being fed with crickets by the attendant. The palace also features a butterfly room where rare butterflies, reptiles, and amphibians are being kept. At the palace, you can see many varieties of butterfly species in just 30 minutes that takes months to see the same amount of species in the wildlife. A visit to the Butterfly Palace is such a wonderful time for kids who will surely enjoy seeing lots of exotic butterflies flying around the garden.
