With KOM SUP, you will get to learn Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Yoga lessons at State Marina on Table Rock Lake. PaddleFit and Yoga SUP classes are offered at the KOM SUP where you will be taught how to move while on your paddle board. Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Yoga Lessons that will be performed in the outdoors of the Ozarks are some of the new recreational activities in Branson. This exciting water activity will teach you how to breathe, move and be present not only on the water but in your daily activity. SUP Yoga will tone your core, build your stability and provide you with a fun learning environment to have fun with your practice in the outdoors.
With the SUP Yoga classes, you will learn Yoga lessons on land to prepare you to take your sequence of postures onto the water. On the water, you will be taught how to flow and move while floating and enjoying all the elements of the wilderness and landscapes from mountain tops to beautiful sunsets. With the combination of breathing and movement, you’re sure to find moments of fun and laughter while moving through the water on your board.
KOM SUP’s PaddleFit and Yoga SUP classes are SUP Yoga ONE (75 min) which includes an intro to SUP (15-30 min) with a Yoga class (30 min) and SUP Yoga TWO (75 min) will be customized to the class. SUP Yoga ONE is required before taking SUP Yoga Two. Previous Yoga experience will be helpful but not required. You are required to wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch and dress in layers for weather conditions.
SUP Yoga ONE is a combination of Stand Up Paddling and Yoga. The lesson will emphasize on core stability which is a wonderful addition to the yoga workout and the paddling experience. SUP Yoga will spend the first half of the class to let you learn how to paddle and access the waters safely and getting comfortable with the board and paddle. The second half of the lesson will provide you with the chance to try your first Yoga poses such as downward dog, seated twist and Savasana. The calmness of floating on the water is combined with the meditative nature of yoga.
SUP Yoga TWO offers participants who want to play and move on the water through their yoga practice with the opportunity to experiment and learn safe ways to build amazing core stability in this great way of practicing yoga. The peacefulness of floating on the water is combined with the meditative nature of yoga in this class and will provide the SUP Yogi with the skills and knowledge of the moving mat to challenge your yoga on the water.
KOM SUP is specializing in PaddleFit and Yoga SUP classes which will teach participants how to paddle, turn, be safe, with the use of the whole body for a full workout, and to have fun.
