While the autumn leaves burst into full color and the beautiful landscape starts to transform into delightful colors, the city starts to celebrate the new season of American heritage with numerous crafts and music festivals, patriotic events, and plentiful outdoor sporting activities. If you enjoy the wonders of the fall season, don’t miss to take Fall Foliage Walking/Jogging Tour in downtown Branson. This Fall Foliage Tour traverses along the 1.5 miles paved walking paths/sidewalks around Branson Landing that takes 50 minutes walking and 25 minutes jogging.
Before you start the Fall Foliage Tour, you can park your car in the northern Branson Lading parking lot near the Belk Department Store. When not joining the tour, take a walk about ¼ mile along the lake until you come to the Water & Fire Fountain Show at the town square where you can take a rest and watch the hourly fountain show. If you go on with the self-guided Fall Foliage Walking/Jogging Tour, cross Branson Landing Blvd. at crosswalk. As you pass the train depot, cross the tracks and continue west along Main Street. Cross Sycamore Street and climb the hill into Historic Downtown Branson.
Note foliage on both sides of Main Street. Cross Commercial St. and continue west on Main Street and Commercial where you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride. As you turn right onto Atlantic Street, continue for two blocks passing the historic Branson City Cemetery. As you reach back the intersection of Commercial St. and Branson Landing Blvd., cross the street at the marked crosswalk. Continue through the parking lot where you will see colorful trees throughout the parking lot as you return to your vehicle.
