This trail will take you to the Table Rock State Park where you can enjoy many recreational outdoor activities. The paved Table Rock Lakeshore Trail is relatively flat which is perfect for people who want to spend a leisurely walk and for those travelling on wheelchairs. As you spend a wonderful moment of hiking in this trail along the lakeside, you can get to see fantastic view of the lake while you feel a relaxing summer breeze that snaps your face. On the upper side of this beautiful trail you can have a great view of glades and dry woodlands with oak trees more than 200 years old. Table Rock Lakeshore Trail also shares a section with Chinquapin Trail.
Near the Table Rock State Park you will find the 1.5-mile Chinquapin Trail where its natural surface trail is accessible to several points in the park, including campground, park office, and amphitheater. As Chinquapin Trail is relatively flat, you will see a vast sampling of glades and wooded valleys. The glade area of this trail offers an array of native grasses that help support many native Ozark animals. There are areas in this trail where you may experience dirt, mud, rocks, gravel, vegetarian on trail, stone steps, bridges, and other old structures.
Table Rock State Park features a well-guarded and maintained campgrounds where visitors can have the chance to enjoy the summer breeze under the shades of the trees. The area is great for families with kids who want to enjoy a leisurely walk in the campground or in the lakeside area for a fun filled vacation with a relaxing atmosphere at Table Rock State Park in Branson. There are about 162 campsites in the park and two thirds of this can be reserved in advance. The remaining campsites are all available to campers on a first-come, first-served basis.
