Anglers have pulled out several state records in this lake including the record holder white bass of 5 pound, 6 ounce and record holder spotted bass of 7 pound, 8 ounce. Countless of visitors flock to Table Rock Lake in anytime of the year to fish, boat, or camp. The shoreside of Table Rock Lake has features of hiking trails, picnic sites, and caves on the banks. The lake is also abundant of large bass, walleye, crappie, bullhead, catfish, blue gill and paddle fish.
After the construction of Table Rock Dam in the 1950s, it created Lake Taneycomo, a man-made lake that became a cold water haven for trout and an incredible sight that gives charm to the city of Branson. Lake Taneycomo is America’s number one trout fishing lake. The 22 miles long of pristine waters of the lake is home to several species of pan fish including largemouth bass, German brown trout, cutthroat trout, and smallmouth bass. The lakefront project of Branson Landing in the area of Lake Taneycomo is home to several boating adventure tours. This development project of Branson Landing turns the lakesides of Lake Taneycomo into a great shopping place and countless of dining options.
Bull Shoals Lake is the third mighty lake in the Branson area that boasts 1,000 miles of pristine and clean shoreline. The lake also offers relaxing boat rentals, great water sports adventures, and world-class fishing. At any time of day, there are hundreds of watercrafts that cruise the waters of Bull Shoals Lake for jet skiing, boating, parasailing, and other great water sports recreations. Fishing is the most popular water activities in the lake which often plays host to regional and national angling tournaments. Several state records fish have been pulled from the waters including the 13 pound, 14 ounce record largemouth, a 21 pound, 1 ounce walleye, and a 51 pound striped bass.
