During summer season, many visitors are coming to Branson to enjoy many fun and exciting shows, attractions, great activities, shopping and dining opportunities. This is also the time where most people flock to Branson Landing on Lake Taneycomo next to historic downtown Branson. As one of the most unique attractions in the area, Branson Landing offers visitors a chance to enjoy great shopping, dining, entertainment and the spectacular fountain show. If you want to try some great Branson activities in the area, you can take a scenic boardwalk down the 1.5 miles paved path along Lake Taneycomo that stretches down to the $7.5 million spectacular fountain show which features the merging of water, fire, light, and music. The water fountains shoot 120 feet into the air and fire cannons shoot with accompanying lights and melodious music including Star Spangled Banner, Up Around the Bend, Listen to the Music, Rock Mountains Way, and Moon Dance.

It is smaller than the full orchestra, but it produces out just as much sound. The Taneycomo Festival Jazz Orchesta is a traditional jazz band made of horns and a rhythm section. The brass players and rhythm section are also members of the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra, and the saxophonists are members of the saxophone orchestra. These musicians are multitalented, classically trained, and enjoy music to perform jazz standards. This musical group is playing exclusively at the Branson Landing and is sponsored by the Branson Parks and Recreation Department.
