The Emerald Forest Mirror Maze is made up of 64 9-foot mirrors from floor to ceiling that look like a never-ending rainforest. The Living Rainforest Science Center is filled with live amphibians and reptiles from the rainforest such as geckos, frogs, salamanders, and many others.
In the butterfly palace there is one building that houses butterfly documentary film about the life of the monarch butterfly that struggled to survive. On the top floor of the palace, you will find a beautiful atrium for butterflies that come from around the world. While walking along the hallway of the palace, you can see a lady playing xylophone and you will hear a wonderful sound of music of a stringed dulcimer. Visiting Butterfly Palace from November to early January is such a wonderful time for kids where they enjoy seeing many kinds of butterflies flying around the garden.
The palace also features pet shop with lizards, turtles, and chameleons where kids enjoy when the chameleon is being fed with crickets by the shop’s attendant. The Butterfly Palace also features a butterfly room that house reptiles and amphibians. The beautiful and huge building of the Butterfly Palace is really cool sitting on top of the hill. Guests at the palace usually stay more than 3 and a half hours and they don’t even realize it. Seeing many varieties of butterfly species may take more than a month to explore, whereas in the Butterfly Palace, it only takes 30 minutes to see these species.
