The 66th Annual Adoration Celebration and Parade is a unique attraction in Branson to be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014. On this special day, Branson community gathers together to set aside each individual aspirations and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. This is the chance of the community organizations to give significance on the beauty of the Christmas story that still inspires many people today. This special Branson’s Adoration Parade creates an overwhelming outpouring of community organizations as they come to celebrate to honor the story of Christmas.
The celebration of the Adoration Parade will begin at 5:00 pm in downtown Branson with the lighting of Branson’s Adoration Scene. As the parade starts to roll, it makes its way across the Branson Landing Blvd. and along Lake Taneycomo passing the spectacular fountain show of water, light, fire, and music. This attraction in Branson is an inspirational community event that culminates the get-together celebration like no other. Ozark Mountain Christmas in Branson begins with the lighting of the nativity scene and this Annual Adoration Parade Celebration wants your community organization to be a part of this unique Christmas tradition.
This Branson’s Adoration Parade includes two special events, the first one has been a part of Branson’s Christmas heritage for 66 years and the other new event this year is part of the celebration of the Branson’s Centennial. In the final event of centennial celebration, there will be a Centennial Adoration Service in the Branson Convention Center on Sunday, December 7, starting at 10:00 am. The service features a 100 plus voice community choir singing Christmas carols, some guests portray Harold Bell Wright, author of The Shepherd of the Hills book. The service is free as well as the parking spaces that are available in the Convention Center parking lot.
On the evening of December 7, the 66th Annual Adoration Parade starts immediately after the Adoration Scene Lighting Ceremony is completed at 5:00 pm in the historic downtown Branson. There will be dozens of bands, floats, and walking participants in Branson’s Adoration Parade who will help celebrate this unique Christmas gathering. The festive and colorful parade is commercial free that don’t allow any advertising promotion on the floats.
