The Air Supply band was formed in 1976 by Chrissie Hammond, Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell (who was later replaced by Jeremy Paul). The first single of the group was released in November of the same year and made it to No. 6 in 1977 on the Kent Music Report Singles Chart. Air Supply went on to release 17 more studio albums, the most recent is titled Mumbo Jumbo which was released in 2010. Recently, the Australian singing duo has been touring and will visit Branson for a limited engage show.
This talented Australian singing duo produced a succession of hits worldwide, including eight Top Ten hits in the United States, in the early 1980s. Formed in Australia, Air Supply included various accompanying musician and singers. On December 1, 2013, Air Supply was inducted by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) into the Hall of Fame at the annual ARIA Awards. After making incredible music for 35 years, Air Supply achieved 9 Billboard Top 5 hits and endless slew of consecutive Multi-Platinum Albums.
With hits like “Lost in Love,” “All Out Of Love,” and “Making Love Out of Nothing At All,” it have made the famous duo achieved countless awards and recognitions. So, it’s easy to see why Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell who formed the iconic band Air Supply are considered as one of the greatest soft rock performers of all time. Their style of music has become synonymous with love and romance that they enjoyed a high level of success and record shattering sales that only few artists have ever experienced. When the duo were first signed by Clive Davis of Arista Records in 1980, their first single “Lost in Love” became the best seller single in the world that leapt to the top of all the charts.

The group was asked to participate in Australia’s bicentennial celebration in 1988 to play for Prince Charles and Princess Diana of whom they learned both were their ardent fans.
