If you are going for a trip this February to the Shepherd of the Hills in Branson, MO, make your Valentine activity filled with great memorable experience. Your visit to the Shepherd of the Hills will let you see lots of exciting attractions and activities. And if you really want to see all of it, come to the Inspiration Tower at the Shepherd of the Hills. Once you are on top of the Inspiration Tower, you will have the chance to see a very inspiring 360 degree view of the Ozark Mountain. When the day is clear, you can see all across the beautiful horizon that spans into the stat of Arkansas.

The Inspiration Tower is such a tall structure that can be seen all throughout many locations around Branson area. The sight is truly magnificent where you can view the Ozark Mountain rising up high above the hills with the breeze snapping from the tip top of the tower. One beautiful moment is when you are cruising down the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway at any time of day and see the top of the tower shrouded by a layer of foggy haze that often lingers above the sky. This 230 foot tall Inspiration Tower will surely give you a memorable and unforgettable time you can take home.

The tower that covers 160 acre historic homestead was built in 1989 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Harold Bell Wright's famous book, "The Shepherd of the Hills". The Outdoor Theater and the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead represent a tourist attraction in the Ozarks area. In 1907, this spot marked the birth of Ozark tourism. The novel of Bell Wright is responsible for the drawing of thousands of tourists to the Ozarks before tourism became an industry.

Through this tourism in the Ozarks, it has grown into Missouri's second biggest industry. Much of this industry is found in the Branson area. The place owe much debt of gratitude to Harold Wright for the creation  of national interest in this portion of the Ozarks.

Shopping enthusiasts who are in the Ozark area will be thrilled to see many outlet malls, craft retailers and specialty shops combine to make Branson a shopper's paradise. Several retail shops and fine restaurants are found in every corner of the Ozark Mountain to satisfy your shopping spree and cravings for home favorites and mouth-watering delicious cuisines. The diverse restaurants in the Ozarks Mountain with famous hometown classics to upscale dining choices will surely savor your taste.

The Shepherd of the Hills' Inspiration Tower is open from 9am to 5pm year round. It is lit up like a Christmas tree with thousands of dazzling lights during the holiday season. On the ground level, there are specialty shops that feature tower themed souvenirs and other Shepherd of the Hills items.
