“The Big Show’’ is an exciting Branson show of Big Clayton, a piano master player who has an awesome talent in playing piano. After performing for several years in Branson, Ozarks native Big Clayton is taking his talent to the “Big’’ stage. Clayton is one of the most popular personalities in the entertainment industry who has performed in front of the $7.5 Million Dollar Fountain Show in Branson Landing for over 7 years. He has also performed with the Presley’s Gospel Sing-A-Long pre-show for 2 years. Big Clayton will be performing at the Branson Central Theatre located at 625 State Highway 165 Branson, Missouri.
From the amazing masterful piano playing of Big Clayton to his hyperactive sense of humor to his grand piano with over 1000 mirrors on it, he is sure to create a great entertainment. Not only will Clayton cover all the “Big’’ piano hits from the past, but he will also cover some of music’s greatest hits such as Music Box Dancer, Chariots of Fire, Phantom of the Opera, Last Date, The Exodus Song, just to name a few. The “Big Show’’ will feature Clayton’s Boogie Woogie playing and he will feature also some of life’s biggest Hymns. Clayton earned the title as America’s Piano Player because of his versatile ability to entertain people of all ages. This is something that he has managed to do. His goal is to let his music bring joy to everyone. Whether doing one of his Boogie Woogie style of performance or to an emotional heartfelt gospel song, Clayton’s goal is to reach his audience. Clayton says, “Music is such a powerful tool. Clayton has roots in church where he taught himself how to play the piano. He learned to play with influences such as Anthony Burger, Floyd Cramer, Pinetop Perkins, and Ray Charles to name a few. Clayton remarked "I have people often tell me that I missed one of the 88 keys when I play." People can't believe his speed, how he plays with soul, and they just can't believe he has never had a lesson. When Clayton has the audience hooked with his boogie, he pulls out some killer chops playing some blues. Playing in the mixed church is where Clayton got his time to learn to play the Hammond B3 Organ.
