When planning for your Halloween getaway in Branson, get your kids ready to visit places where you can enjoy many exciting activities such as participating in haunted tours. This is a good opportunity for most visitors who tag along kids to experience and enjoy haunted tours throughout October. Haunted tours will be an exciting activity for all kids.

The Haunted House is an exciting place for kids to visit during Halloween in Branson. This horror house is easy to find on the Branson Strip next to Walmart. People of all ages should be prepared for a fright as they enter the haunted house. This horror place boasts state of the art animatronics and special effects to give visitors a unique haunted experience where they will see goblins, ghouls, and other creatures that go bump in the night to real life for you.

With spooky music playing and eerie lighting around the area, you will feel a frightening experience, and you’ll have a full dose of thrills and chills that will keep you spooked throughout the Halloween event. This venue is open to all with no age restriction from 9 am daily throughout the year.

The next tip on planning your Halloween getaway in Branson is to bring the kids to many large business establishments in Branson that host trick-or-treat activities where kids can have the opportunity to fill their candy buckets. There are two places in Branson to visit for this exciting activity for kids, the factory outlet mall and several retail outlets at Branson Landing.

On Halloween Night in Branson, there will be Halloween themed events with costume contests that are open to all visitors. After you have enjoyed with the kids with the trick-or-treat activities, it’s time to take some rest in one of the cozy log cabins in Branson that you have chosen to stay.

The following day, bring the whole family to the Dickerson Park Zoo and enjoy the Halloween Spooktacular. The Dickerson Park Zoo is a favorite family attraction where you can see gorgeous animal exhibits and hundreds of species of animals all throughout the year.

From October 21 to October 31, the zoo will be transformed into a hauntingly special place with partially dimmed pathways and creepy creatures handing out candies at stations located throughout the zoo. Visitors are encouraged to wear their own costumes for the spooktacular. The zoo is located in Springfield, about 45 miles north of Branson.

If you are looking for a more ghoulish experience, head on to the Haunted House and Monster Asylum at Ozark Cemetery. This house of terror can easily be found on the Branson Strip. People of all ages are allowed to enter at their own risk, but prepare to be scared out as you tour the haunted house.

This horrifying place features state-of-the-art animatronics, eerie music, creepy lighting, and plenty of ghouls, ghosts, and creepy creatures that will scare you till you get home. The Haunted House and Monster Asylum at Ozark Cemetery are open year-round and open daily at 9 am.

When you want to experience more of the spookiness, there are still many different events to enjoy throughout Branson that are guaranteed to get you in the spooky spirit. Bass Pro Shops will host a Free Halloween Event from October 24 to 31.

The entire last week of October at Bass Pro Shops will offer free “Peanuts” craft activities where kids can create Charlie Brown and Halloween-themed magnets, picture frames and door signs. On October 30, you and the kids can participate in their “plant a pumpkin” craft where you decorate a bag and plant a pumpkin with the soil inside it.

If all of the above Halloween activities are not enough, visit the Haunted Hilton Masquerade at Clear Lounge inside the Hilton Convention Center on October 29 from 9 pm to 12:30 am. This is perfect for adults who are looking for some entertainment this Halloween.

The party is for people 21 years or older. So during this time, let your kids enjoy a relaxing stay in your log cabin in Branson. In addition, there will be prizes and drink specials throughout the night. Costumes are not required for the party but are encouraged. However, wearing masks to cover the eyes are required for the masquerade theme.
