An Evening of Fun and Music with Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers


Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers will be performing live at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theatre  in Branson on November 1 and 15, 2017. These country music legends will bring you great music as they return to Starlite Theatre and will perform select dates throughout the year. As one of Branson’s favorite visiting acts, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers love to share music from their huge catalog of popular country songs.
music in BransonThese great country performers are one of the most successful artists in country music history with 33 tops 40 singles including “Denver,” “Houston (Mean That I’m One Day Close to You),” “Midnight Choir (Mogen David),” and “She Used To Be Somebody’s Baby,” “Statues Without Hearts,” “I Don’t Want To Cry,” “What Are We Doing Lonesome,” “I’ve Done Enough Dyin’ Today,” “Take Me To Your Lovin’ Place,” “Night Time Magic,” “Love Is Just A Game,” “The Lady Takes The Cowboy Every Time,” and “Talkin’ To The Moon.”
The Gatlins have racked up more than 15 top ten hits on the country charts, including favorites like “Love of a Lifetime” and “The Lady Takes the Cowboy Everytime.” The song “All the Gold in California” is one of the catchiest tunes to ever hit the country music scene. That got them an Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year. These famous country artists have performed in all the historic venues, including the Ryman Auditorium and Carnegie Hall, and for the last five Republican presidents. They have graced also on numerous television talk shows, specials, and other programs including shows hosted by Dinah Shore, John Davidson, Merv Griffin, Barbara Mandrell, Ralph Emory, Marty Stuart, and Crook & Chase.
The three brothers, Larry, Steve, and Rudy have each found success in their own right. As a prolific songwriter, Larry Gatlin has penned songs recorded by Kris Kristofferson, Tom Jones, Barbara Streisand, and even Elvis Presley. The solo career of Larry earned him a Grammy Award for his chart-topping, Broken Lady, but it’s their hits as a group that have made them a favorite of music fans everywhere. 
The songs of the Gatlin Brothers are not just popular to their fans, they’ve been recognized in the music industry, too, having received the Single of the Year Award for “All the Golden in California” and the Album of the Year Award for Straight Ahead from the Academy of Country Music (ACM), as well as the ultimate ACM the prestigious Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award. The Gatlins were also inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and performed at significant events, including the Inaugural Gala for President Ronald Reagan, and singing the National Anthem at the World Series.
