Aside from the vast shopping area of Branson Landing, historic downtown Branson is also home to Branson Scenic Railway. This fantastic train tour takes passengers through the Ozark Mountains. This 40-mile round trip train excursion tour takes a wonderful journey to locations that are not accessible to cars or other means of transportation. As the train traverses through the inland mountainous spots, passengers will learn the history of the Ozarks through the narration of the train conductor. The train tour will let you experience first-class treatment as it takes you to a journey of one hour and 45 minutes.
Historic downtown Branson also features the biggest fund raising event called Piccadily Women’s Event and Gala. The event is held at the beautiful resort of Chateau on the Lake and begins at 5:30 pm with wine tasting and a cheese that will be followed by a delightful three-course dinner. The ticket price for this fundraising event is $50 per person. The proceeds from this event are given to the modernization of Historic Downtown Branson.
