Golf game can be tough when you handicap yourself by eating foods that’ll slow you down. If you’re going to snack, eat the right food. Rather than grabbing that bag of chips, hot dog, and soda when you make the turn, try these health snacks for golfers, instead.

Golf Snack #1 – Yogurt and Frozen Blueberries

Yogurt and frozen blueberries are an excellent snack food that will also fuel your body on the golf course. This food works better if you freeze blueberries the night before your round and find a container for your Greek yogurt. Store the blueberries separately in plastic bags so you can mix them at your pleasure. The problem with this food is that they need to remain cold, so it requires a cooler. If you don’t have a cooler, this might not be the best choice, but if you have, it’s a great way to get some powerful antioxidants and to keep cool in the summer heat.
