The colorful and exotic butterflies are housed in a 9,0000 square foot butterfly garden that you can walk freely on a ecosystem that supports over 2,000 butterflies. In the garden, you can enjoy the fragrance of the flowering plants that attract the beautiful butterflies. Young and old alike can have the chance to enjoy many interactive and educational displays and exhibits throughout the greenhouse. Also displayed in the interactive learning environment are authentic creatures from rainforest including geckos, giant cockroaches, and poison art frogs.
The Butterfly Palace and Living Rainforest features an exotic butterfly aviary where you can have a fun time seeing exotic birds, botanical specimens, and turtles that make it their home. This enclosed room is where the butterflies flit, float, and flutter on you as you make your way around the room. The creatures that you will see in the aviary have been imported from around the world – and are now on display for your enjoyment. You will also see a variety of birds and plants that have been cultivated from some of the world’s exotic jungles and forests. Children can have the opportunity to use the exploration gear to get a closer look including a magnifying glass, kids binoculars, and a Pith Helmet (all of which are provided free of charge).
The start of your journey at the Butterfly Palace begins inside the Rainforest Theater room. This multimedia area has been set up to display a video that will educate you about butterflies, their habitats, and behaviors. Marking the entrance and exit to the Butterfly Palace is a large gift shop and shopping area where you can pick up some souvenirs, gifts to take back home, or fun items that will help you forever remember your trip! There’s also a butterfly room at the palace where rare butterflies, reptiles, and amphibians are being kept. Seeing many varieties of butterfly species is possible in just 30 minutes while it takes months to see the same many varieties of butterfly in the wildlife.
Your admission to the Butterfly Palace allows you unlimited access to all that is offered. Inside the palace, you can enjoy a documentary about the incredible monarch migration; you can also stretch your way through the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure; a passage to the Living Rainforest Science Center; and a journey through the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze. You can also enjoy a climb to a coconut tree and a 3D movie about the butterfly life cycle. The Butterfly Palace is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day but open year round from 9am to 5pm daily.

In the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure, you can see pillars, rocks, and vines that creep from floor to ceiling. You can stretch your way at the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure through a tangled web of vines. It’s really a fun experience with a unique challenge for both young and old visitors. The owner of this great Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure went to Malaysia and went through the Banyan Trees and came back to customize this unique bungee adventure that you can experience here.
The Living Rainforest Science Center is an interesting place to roam around that will allow you to enjoy nature. Here you will see some of the most amazing and unique animals in the world in this exotic setting within the palace building. You will come face-to-face with an exotic display of some of the world’s most intriguing creatures including: a blue-tongued skink, giant cockroaches, poison dart frogs, centipedes, salamanders, geckos, snakes, and more! In addition to the live animals on display inside the center, there are also educational exhibits set up which will inform and entertain you and include a light microscope and virtual dissection of a frog included in the Rainforest Science Center.
A unique attraction in the Butterfly Palace, the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze will let you experience difficulty of finding your way out. In the garden of the Butterfly Palace, it’s great to watch thousands of white butterflies move like snowflakes.
