Sandbox Party at Mel's Hard Luck Diner
Mel’s Hard Luck Diner in the Grand Village will be hosting Sandbox Party on November 7, 2017 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Dining in Branson can be experienced in a unique way by all veterans as they can enjoy free breakfast served in a sandbox. You don’t need to bring anything to this Sandbox Party. All you need to take with you is yourself, a friend, and your appetites. This great dining place in Branson is providing free breakfast to all veterans and starts at 8:30 am, so don’t be late for a chow. Nothing special here but a hearty meal of biscuits and gravy and anything else “Cookie”. Dee and Sarah will be the “Hostesses with the Mostess” this year and will make sure you and your family appreciate the party.
Sandbox Party is for all veterans who have served or is serving in any of the Persian Gulf Wars. The Vietnam Memorial Wall is open also for free. There will be outdoor formal ceremony on Nov. 7 at 10 am at the Welk Resort. Medics, nurses, and veterans are invited for a Mini Reunion on the same day at 2 to 4 pm at Westgate Resort at Roark Valley Road. A Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held also at 5 pm at the same place. The 9th Annual Vietnam Veterans Mini Reunion will have a free lunch and show to be held from noon to 5pm at Clay Cooper Theater.
