The Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks offers guests a chocolate that is really irresistible as it is perfectly prepared by Robert Stricklin, executive chef at the Keeter Center.

Stricklin is proud to offer his signature dessert for conferences or meetings at Keeter Center – Chocolate Mousse Cake. Stricklin has said that, “When you are feeding a lot of people you will satisfy a lot of them with chocolate. And our Chocolate Mousse Cake is probably one of the best desserts you will have at a banquet.”

Stricklin is not the only chef serving up cocoa creations to please convention-goers’ palates at the Keeter Center. Members of the Missouri Farm Bureau finished their dinner at Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center, with a delectable Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake served with Port Poached Figs and Grand Marnier Chantilly.

You can choose from a wide array of scones, biscotti, cookies, cakes, turnovers, tarts, truffles, and baklava with tea, hot chocolate, or a specialty coffee drink.

You can also find the Creamery at the Keeter Center where the students of the college made it from fresh milk from the campus dairy; the delightful ice cream at the Creamery, a culinary treasure located at the College of the Ozarks, is a fresh-from-the-farm treat for your taste buds.  Flavors offered include classics like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry as well as popular flavors like coffee and salted caramel.

The Keeter Center offers unique dining in Branson, as it is a part of College of the Ozarks, a Christian liberal arts college. Known as Hard Work U, College of the Ozarks provides the opportunity for full-time students to work at one of more than 120 campus jobs to pay for their cost of education. Students are charged no tuition at the collge. The hosts, servers, cooks, and bakers at The Keeter Center are students working for their cost of education. Many of these students are studying Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management.
