Many years ago, the nightlife in Branson consisted mainly of shows, local bars, and night lounges. With the addition of new places and things to do in Branson at night, that all changed.

With so many exciting attractions and great fun activities that are now being enjoyed by many visitors, the fun and excitement in Branson don’t end even after the sunset — on your next vacation to the Ozarks, trying to find out these unexpected attractions in Branson.

Dining at The Osage is an ideal way to spend an evening in Branson, followed by a relaxing drink in a cozy patio with fire-pits and the perfect setting sunset.

While you enjoy a great time at Top of the Rock, you’ll experience rich beauty and spectacular views of the Ozark Mountains and the beautiful Table Rock Lake. Beautifully located at the highest elevation of Taney County near Branson, Top of the Rock offers world-class recreation and exciting attractions, including the Ancient Ozark Natural History Museum, the Lost Canyon Cave, legendary golf courses, the recently formed Cathedral of Nature, world-class dining and many beautiful natural sceneries.

When you visit the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, it will take you back to a time when massive animals roamed the area. The museum is the place where you can see the most noteworthy collections of Native American artifacts in the world and showcases the geological history of the Ozarks region as well as American West and rare Civil War relics.

Big Cedar Lodge Fun Mountain

The excellent location of Fun Mountain at the Big Cedar Lodge becomes a favorite destination for families and couples alike. With an area of 50,000-square-foot, you’ll enjoy endless activities, from an underwater themed bowling alley to a bumper car rink, a laser tag arena, golf simulator, billiard tables, and more.

Whether you’re climbing to the top of the rock wall or zooming down the slide of the pirate ship, you’ll be delighted with the exciting activities at Fun Mountain. The Copper Run Distillery is an ideal place to go for authentic Ozark moonshine and craft cocktails. This unexpected attraction in Branson is located in a charming cabin out in the middle of the woods, where you can relax on a porch and listen to the crickets’ tweet or stay inside and listen to local musicians. Sits in one of the best-kept secrets in Missouri, Copper Run Distillery is a small business with deep roots. The distillery is a small-batch craft business that favors quality and stands by its slogan, small-batch Big Passion.

Shepherd of the Hills Homestead

Shepherd of the Hills Homestead is a fascinating attraction in Branson where you can watch Outdoor Drama, a classic play written by novelist Harold Bell Wright. The play tells the story of life in the Ozark Hills in the year 1900s. The drama includes a cast of over 80 actors, 40 horses, sheep, a log cabin, a 1908 Dewitt automobile, and more. The play is held outdoors, with the last performance at the end of October.

As you take The Shepherd of the Hills Homestead Tour, you will get to learn the history of American literature. This 60-minute Shepherd of the Hills Homestead Tour will let you hop on a jeep-drawn tram and make the first stop at the original structure of Old Matt’s cabin. The cabin served as the home of the Ross family for more than 30 years before it became part of the history. Another exciting activity to do during the Homestead Tour is a trip to the top of the Inspiration Tower, a 230-foot tall structure that allows guests 360-degree views of Branson.

Many visitors think that they have already seen all the attractions that Branson has to offer, but there are still many amazing attractions in Branson that need to be explored.
